Nikola TOŠIĆ
MSCA Individual Fellow | PhD MSc BSc in Civil Engineering
Dr. Nikola Tošić (Serbia, 1987) received his BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Civil Engineering in 2010, 2011, and 2018. At the moment, he is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of the Polytechnic University of Catalona (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain. His area of expertise are reinforced, prestressed and fiber reinforced concrete structures, as well as environmentally sustainable alternatives to traditional components of structural concrete composites. Nikola has was previously Assistant Professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Civil Engineering 2018-2019 and Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Notre Dame, IN, USA (2019). He has authored 14 SCI papers and over 20 conference papers.

Besides being an MSCA Individual Fellow and Fulbright Visiting Scholar, Nikola is a member of the International Federation of Structural Concrete – fib where he was Secretary of the Young Members Group 2019–2021, member of Task Group 2.1 Serviceability and Convener of Task Group 4.7 "Structural Applications of Recycled Aggregate Concrete".
Nikola is also a member of the CEN subcommittee TC 250/SC 2 for the new Eurocode 2.
